CLEVELAND — Cavaliers fans looking to emulate the look commonly featured on new point guard Derrick Rose will have the opportunity to do so for cheap thanks to a week-long promotion at Men’s Wearhouse.
Cleveland-area stores are offering $251 off every suit originally priced at $1,000 or more to welcome the former Bulls and Knicks player to the Cavs. The 251 number represents $1 off for each regular-season game he has missed in his nine-year NBA career.
“The image you get of Derrick Rose is no longer his athletic slashes to the basket but the stylish suits he wears on the bench,” said a brand representative. “We thought it was a great opportunity for fans to enjoy that same look at an affordable price.”
The representative added that with Rose signing a veteran minimum contract at just 28 years of age, the former MVP might have to start thinking about saving money and ought to be interested in the sale himself. Rose could not be reached for comment due to disappearing again.
