After an 0-16 season, there is naturally plenty of evaluating going on about the Browns roster. Some believe no talent is there, but others feel the team played well below its potential.
Despite the 0-16 record, there is one thing we should make no mistake about: This Browns team is only a quarterback away from having four of them on the roster.
Given the Browns keep their dynamic trio of DeShone Kizer, Cody Kessler and Kevin Hogan, drafting a QB at No. 1 would add another QB to that room. This new QB, going along with the Browns current roster and other draft picks, will make up a roster come training camp. With the influx of draft picks, the Browns will also add many more young players to the roster which will affect the average age of the team.
As far as the talent level of the roster, that remains to be a question, but picking a quarterback with the No. 1 pick would for sure give the Browns a chance to play some football games next season.
