Isaiah Thomas calls out Cavs for lack of height

CLEVELAND — Cavaliers guard Isaiah Thomas has had a tumultuous first year with the Cavs to say the least, and things seem to be getting worse before they get better. The Cavs have been plagued by poor play and drama, and Thomas has been an integral part of both.

Thomas has been just awful on the court, shooting only 35.5 percent and averaging nearly three turnovers in less than 27 minutes a game, but that has not stopped him from speaking his mind off of it. His latest critique is sure to shock some, though.

Thomas recently called out the Cavs for a surprising reason: “This team just doesn’t have enough height, they did a horrible job of getting tall people,” said the Cavs guard and possible Celtics double agent. “They also got too many guys that take contested shots that might get blocked.”

Some might say that these comments by Thomas are rather hypocritical, but he refused to back down from his statements. He was also asked who is to blame the most for the Cavs problems and he responded “Kevin Love” with no hesitation, mentioning it was selfish of Love to get injured, and even when he comes back he will have to get back up to speed during games, which will hinder the whole team.
