Cleveland– After a thrilling game 6 win, in which LeBron dropped 46 needed points, and Kevin Love exited the game with a head injury, questions arose on just how much the Cavs have left for game 7. Bench players like Jeff Green and Larry Nance Jr. had solid games, but role players always play better at home, and game 7 will be in Boston.
With the availability of Love in doubt, Ty Lue is hoping for a solid contribution for the Nets pick. “I’m hoping he can come in and give us 10 solid minutes” Lue said in his press conference, “We’ll need the energy off the bench and on the defensive end.” The Nets pick was acquired in the Kyrie Irving deal, and remains the last piece of that deal still on the Cavs.
While it is unclear what skill set the pick will bring to the table for Sunday’s winner-take-all match up, Lue did mention he had high expectations, citing how well the past Nets picks have been playing for the Celtics.
