CLEVELAND — After a rookie year filled with downs and downs, including a four-game suspension for the use of performance-enhancing drugs, wide receiver Jordan Payton is still seeking a refund for the PEDs.
After he recorded just one catch for three yards all year, one has to wonder just how performance enhancing those drugs truly were. Payton returned to the spot under the I-480 bridge, where the drugs were purchased, in hopes of a full refund.
It is unclear whether Payton kept his receipt or not, which may be what is holding up the reimbursement. Payton’s agent would not comment on where the all-time UCLA receptions leader plans to acquire his PEDs for the 2017 season.
