Former terrible veteran Browns receivers give encouragement to Kenny Britt about stealing money from team

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns have an interesting recent history, and included in that is a track record when it comes to wide receivers. The Browns year after year manage to sign veteran receivers who are truly awful, and this year is no different. Through two games, nine-year vet Kenny Britt has been just terrible, drawing outrage from the fanbase, but he does have some guidance from receivers that used to be in his predicament.

It was reported to Clemocks.com that past receivers such as Donte Stallworth, Miles Austin, Brian Hartline, and Dwayne Bowe recently spoke to Britt about the art of getting the eternally talent-hungry Browns to pay you to do nothing. Bowe reportedly gave Kenny Britt a great deal of encouragement.

“There is nothing like the American dream of getting paid to do nothing, and it is an amazing opportunity that the Browns have given some of us,” said the former Chiefs Pro Bowler who had just five catches for the Browns. “I would tell all over-the-hill wide receivers next offseason to work out with the Browns in the hopes of securing that big contract.”

Others gave similar advice, as Stallworth pointed out how the Browns gave him a seven-year contract, of which he played one season and made 17 catches. Britt’s agent said he felt uplifted by all the support he has been given and he plans to be encouraged to continue to contribute in no way except for buying a new mansion.
