Tyronn Lue benched for game 3

Cleveland — After Tuesday night’s tough loss to the Celtics in game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals, lineup changes were expected. Many are looking to coach Tyronn Lue to limit the playing time of the struggling Jeff Green and Rodney Hood. As game time approaches, management made a surprising move.

Coach Lue will be listed a healthy scratch for tonight’s game. “It came down to his ineffective coaching and lack of in-game adjustments” said owner Dan Gilbert. Lue will have his chance to earn more coaching time based on his play calls in practice.

Coach Lue will remain on the team bench tonight, and LeBron James will assume coaching responsibility. The news was delivered to Lue earlier this morning via text from Gilbert, and since the news broke, the Cavs have jumped to 20 point favorites.
